Plot: Inspector Annie is called out to assist a colleague in an emergency case involving two huskies and a bull-breed dog, which are believed to have been injured following a fight at a property in north London. In Staffordshire, deputy chief inspector Jayne Bashford is accompanied by the police to execute a warrant to enter a property after reports of animal cruelty, and discovers that puppies have been buried alive in the back garden
