Plot: The reflections of Clive Backhouse, a 60-year-old working-class northerner using the emotional anchor of one building provides a snapshot of his life, from a 9-year-old waiting outside a fish and chip shop, through the building’s evolution to become a high-end Café, the building has become a comfort-blanket woven with memories.
