Plot: Mitra was the first Hong Kong film to be made in Iran and the last of Lung Kong’s directorial works to be released theatrically. Made in an act of courage and of opportunism with a small crew on the occasion of the director’s sojourn to the Tehran International Film Festival to premiere Hiroshima 28, the film tells a love story set upon the expansive desert backdrops of the Middle East
