Plot: No white man has ever set foot beyond the coastal regions of New Guinea and so Armand and Michaela Denis determined to explore this virtually unknown territory. The film is the story of their adventures among natives whose colorful lives are based on brutal principles which have been unchanged for thousands of years and also of their expedition to the distant Waghi Valley where they found and photographed the rare and exotic bird of paradise
