Bach & Zelenka Easter Oratorio & Easter Mass

Plot: The Belgian vocal ensemble Vox Luminis compares two sacred works from the German Baroque repertoire, both celebrating the resurrection of Christ: the Easter Oratorio by the Lutheran Johann Sebastian Bach, which premiered in Leipzig in 1725, and the Missa Paschalis by the Catholic Jan Dismas Zelenka, which premiered in Dresden in 1726.
