Bio: Laïla Marrakchi (born December 10, 1975 in Casablanca, Morocco) is a Moroccan film director and screenwriter.
In 2005, she wrote and directed her first feature film, Marock, which was presented in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival
