Gary Yates (born in Montreal, Canada) is a film director from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Yates has worked on Canadian television since the early 1990s and recently completed a number of feature films starring actor Kevin Pollack, including Niagara Motel (2005) and Seven Times Lucky (2004), which was nominated for five Genie Awards
